A wise therapist once said to me: “If a relationship is meant to be, nothing so fragile will make it break.” Years later, I now pass that wisdom on to my patients. It resonates with many of them. It is almost as if we think significant relationships can be severed by a wrong look, a missed call, or expressing too much emotion. If something is truly meant to stay in our world, whether it be romantic or not, it does. However, there are people who have difficulty believing, for one reason or another that “it’s too good to be true” or “I don’t deserve this” and try to sabotage the relationship. This is where the work needs to be done. Does this resonate with you? I would like to help you work on the desired outcome you deserve. Let’s explore it together. I’m ready when you are.
